Indra Bhandari

Founder

AASHAPURA OVERSEAS

She laid the foundation of the 3 decade old enterprise with her husband. The story started with 1 beautiful “thaan” of soft voil given to her by her mother. She wanted to print those to make some world famous jaipur quilts.

“Our parents were set to look for block printers and carvers in the lanes of Sanganer some 30 years back. Their romance with blocks started back then.” Namita

She is full of warmth, determination and compassion. She has been closely involved in building the company by addressing to the clients and their requirements. At Aashapura, we are a family - all our artisans and the team members, designers, founders and the clients. These seeds have been sown by her.

She is our inspiration at Aashapura Overseas.

Namita Bhandari

Partner

RJ 14 DESIGN COMPANY LLP

The entrepreneurship bug bit Namita early in life when right after completing her diploma in jewelry design she co-founded a design festival in Jaipur. She also worked with prominent jewelry designers in Mumbai and Delhi to hone her design chops and build an intimate understanding of various techniques and manufacturing processes. It was during this period that she identified the burgeoning need for high quality buttons and related accessories in the menswear space. The business opportunity allowed Namita to tap into her passion for promoting and preserving the traditional techniques and skills of local artisans leading to the birth of AZGA & RJ 14 DESIGN COMPANY LLP.
